OPENGATE is a high-throughput weapons detection system that enables faster screening of people with backpacks, purses, and bags for weapons. As the first and only fully wire-free, active walk-through detection system, OPENGATE uses two freestanding pillars with no mechanical or electrical connection between them. This revolutionary arch-free design delivers the highest throughput with the lowest nuisance alarms, which can eliminate the divesting process where needed. The system features specialized shoe screening, LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity with optional asset tracking, and built-in ASTM F3566-22 Standard Security Levels for compliance.

Weighing only 25 pounds and requiring less than one minute for setup, OPENGATE is highly portable and quick to install. Battery operation provides up to 20 hours of continuous use, while the standard 110V wall outlet option enables permanent installations. With clear GO/NO GO signaling that requires minimal training, OPENGATE is ideal for stadiums, schools, transportation hubs, and all public venues that require rapid crowd screening.

Advanced Shoe Screening Technology

NEW specialized shoe screening capability provides dedicated threat detection at foot level with distinct yellow alarm indication. A yellow visual indicator differentiates shoe-level alarms from body-level threats, enabling targeted secondary screening. Maintains rapid throughput while addressing a previously challenging security gap.


Flexible Passage Width Configuration

Operational useful passage width adjustable from 27 inches to 39 inches accommodates different throughput requirements and accessibility needs.


NetID Anywhere Cloud Management

OPENGATE supports NetID Anywhere software for centralized access and management of device settings, users, and configuration. This cloud-based platform enables monitoring of calibration settings, system statistics, and performance across multiple OPENGATE units and CEIA walk-through metal detectors from any web-connected location.


Mobile App Configuration

Detection and signaling parameters can be easily set via the OPENGATE App, designed for smartphones or tablets based on Android and iOS operating systems. The intuitive mobile interface requires limited training and enables rapid adjustment of sensitivity levels, alarm settings, and operational parameters. Security personnel can optimize detection settings for different threat scenarios or venue requirements without technical expertise or complex programming.

A visual battery indicator supports proactive power management, and the CEIA Li-Ion Dual Bay Charger recharges two batteries in up to 5 hours
