The 02PN20 is a heavy-duty walk-through metal detector engineered for demanding security checkpoints that require combined metal and radiation detection. It detects firearms and knives, even when hidden within body cavities, and accurately indicates the threat’s position, intensity, and composition, using Met-Identity technology for threat composition identification. With 60 pinpointing zones (20 vertical x 3 lateral) providing left, center, and right indication, high discrimination enables rapid throughput while minimizing nuisance alarms through reset times as short as 0.2 seconds and very high detection speeds up to 50 ft/sec. An optional embedded radiation portal with full-height detection provides high-sensitivity gamma sensors covering the full transit height, allowing accurate detection of radioactive materials, radiation shielding containers (lead), and medical radionuclide identification.

Heavy-duty configurations are suitable for applications where equipment is subject to frequent relocation, featuring cables with metal, military-grade connectors for quick plugging and unplugging, and rapid installation, allowing all parts to be assembled without tools. The MI2 sensor is a multi-sensor technology, specifically an 18-axis passive magnetometer, integrated into Walk-Through Metal Detectors (WTMD). This technology combines the ability to detect metallic weapons (including magnetic and non-magnetic weapons and items made of light alloys) with the specific capability to identify mobile devices, including standard and miniaturized cellphones or smartphones with low metal content
